Fierce Yogini

I’ve spent decades helping people feel stronger in their bodies. As a former athlete turned yoga instructor, I’ve rebuilt from the ground up more than once, and I bring that grit into everything I teach. My approach is simple: no fluff, no judgment, just movement that works. Through strength-based yoga, breathwork & nutrition. I help people reconnect to their bodies, calm the chaos, and build lasting confidence. Whether you’re just starting or starting over, you don’t need to be perfect to feel powerful.

From Olympic Hopeful to Healing Rebel: Why I Built a Yoga Business for People Who Want Their Power Back

Yoga saved my ass—literally and emotionally. Now I teach it with zero fluff and all fire.

The Messy, Honest, WTF-Just-Happened Beginning

Let’s rewind. I wasn’t some peaceful, incense-burning yogi out the gate. I was an athlete. The kind who started skiing before she could spell it. By my teens, I was a five-time Junior Olympic Champion and training with the U.S. Ski Team in Vermont. I was all in! Then life threw a brick wall at me... literally! A devastating car crash ended my Olympic dream and slammed me into a world I didn’t recognize.

Cue the identity crisis. The physical pain was brutal, but the emotional fallout? Way worse!

I found yoga somewhere between the tears, the anger, and the WTF-is-happening moments. I cried through half the poses. I didn’t float on a cloud. I rebuilt myself on the mat—slowly, clumsily, and completely. That journey.. raw, real, and sweaty.. became my mission:

Help women (and men) get strong again. In body, mind, and spirit. Without the BS.

The Transformation (aka Why I Do This Work)

If you’re here, you’re probably feeling like you’re missing something.

Strength. Clarity. Confidence. Sanity.

Maybe your body doesn’t feel like yours anymore. Maybe your brain is foggy af.

Maybe you just want to feel like a badass again.

Good. You’re in the right place!

My approach to yoga is built for women like us—who have lived some life, who don’t need a guru, and who are ready to feel damn good again. I teach results-driven, real-world yoga that builds strength, unlocks energy, and actually supports your lifestyle—not complicates it. No chanting. No judgment. Just progress.

So What Makes Me Different?

Let’s just say I’ve been through the fire and I bring that grit to everything I teach. I’m not just certified (ERYT-500) with over 1,000+ hours of training from world-class instructors. I’ve also taught yoga in corporate offices like Sony Records and NBCUniversal, New York studios like House of Jai and Loom Yoga, and living rooms across the country.

My background in marketing and journalism (Walter Cronkite School grad—yes, that one) means I also know how to communicate this practice so it lands, makes sense, and sticks. I won’t talk down to you or throw Sanskrit around to sound wise. You’ll learn, you’ll laugh, and you’ll get stronger than you’ve been in years.

And yeah—I’ve worked with pregnant mamas, post-injury athletes, burned-out execs, and women & men who’ve never stepped on a mat. You don’t have to be flexible. You just have to be fed up and ready!
